About

The Fords’ were both raised in homes that exposed them to the Christian faith. Both accepted Christ as children. Dick accepted the Lord at the age of twelve while attending a Christian camp. A Sunday School teacher led Judy to Christ at the age of four.

Dick and Judy wanted to raise their children in a fundamental, Bible teaching church. God led them to become members of First Baptist Church of Willingboro, NJ, a fundamental, missions minded church. Through the Bible teaching of a pastor, who loves the Word of God, Dick and Judy grew in the knowledge and love of the Lord. Dick served there as chairman of the deacon board and both were involved in youth ministry. During this time Judy participated in short term mission trips going with teams from FBC to Canada to help small rural churches with Vacation Bible School. She also served short term with Word of Life Fellowship as a nurse on a medical mission outreach in Ukraine.

Their education is as follows; Dick is a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a Master Degree in counseling. He worked as a teacher for several years. He also spent 18 summers as director of a Christian camp. Judy is a graduate of Helene Fuld School of nursing and has experience in several areas of nursing including 5 years as a Hospice Nurse. Both Dick and Judy have formal Bible training through the Moody Bible Institute external studies program. Upon completion of his studies Dick was ordained by a board of independent Baptist pastors through Pennwood Bible Church, Everett Pa..

Dick and Judy have three grown children, Brian, Jim and Kelly. All are married and actively involved in a church. In 2005 God blessed them with Maria, a blind child adopted from the Philippines born October 30, 1995.

Dick and Judy have been serving in missions since 1998 both in the USA and the Philippines. They rejoice that God has opened the way for them to help indigenous pastors to carry out the Luke 14 mandate.* Their ministry includes working with local churches in the USA. They serve through Central Missionary Clearinghouse. CMC is an Independent Baptist Missionary organization. Often their work is done in association with the Joni and Friends ministry.

*..Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and the maimed, and the lame and the blind. ..compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.

From Luke 14 : 21,23
